Siser PS Film is a flex material specifically designed for use on cutting plotters. It is available in 47 vibrant colors with a soft and very thin finish – only 90 microns. The product is available on rolls with width 50 cm and maximum length 25 m. It can be purchased by the meter.
Siser PS Film is also available in Fluorescent colors.
Siser PS Film is one of the most popular materials for thermo transfer on textile. Its features include high washing resistance, hot or cold peeling, easy cutting and weeding. In addition its specific composition allows multilayer applications – PS film on PS film or PS film on StripFlock. This way endless blend of colors and effects are possible. Furthermore the main advantage of the material is its adhesive. Unlike Videoflex, Siser PS film has a weak adhesive which does not allow any dislocation during cutting. This makes it perfect for small letters and symbols.
You should cut the material in reverse. You can use the backing paper to protect the graphic when you apply it on the cloth. Thus you do not need any additional material for the application. Siser PS Film is suitable for cotton and polyester textiles as well as blends of these materials. It is not suitable for treated and dye sublimation fabrics. The material is certified Öko-Tex® Standard 100 Classe I which makes it perfect for baby clothes. PS Film is the European equivalent of Siser EasyWeed which is the most popular brand in the USA. In 2018 Siser officially confirmed the change and Siser PS Film is now PS Film EasyWeed.
