Reflectiv Thick SEC 058 is an extremely resistant safety film that provides security from both items and people. A window equipped with this film may crack but will remain in place and secured. The material forms a membrane that helps avoid accidents involving scattered broken glass. The product has acrylic polymer adhesive with transparent color. It has 12 to 15 years service life for inside applications in Europe. SignGround recommends internal application for this product to maximize the safety characteristics.
Reflectiv Thick SEC 058 is perfect for protection of public places like schools, hospitals, sport halls and all other locations exposed to dangers of broken windows. The film requires no maintenance and is classified M1 in terms of reaction to fire. It does not change the visible light and solar energy transmission.
The product is suitable for windows and glasses with area of more than 3 square meters. For areas smaller than 3 sqm you can check Reflectiv THICK SEC 054.
