Akrylon XT is a flat, extruded acrylic sheet with transparent and clear color. It offers the same light transmission compared to glass – up to 92%, however it is stronger and half the weight. The material is extremely resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions with service temperature between -40 and 80 degrees C. Akrylon XT is the ultimate choice for a wide range of applications. It is especially suitable for POS/POP displays. It is also perfect for light boxes, light fixtures, illuminating and 3D signage, glazing, roof lights. In addition, its applications in interior design are unlimited.
Akrylon XT can be easily fabricated, machined and thermoformed. It can be hot line bent and shaped into a wide variety of forms. That opens endless design options for designers, from small fabricated items to transparent furniture. The material is also easy to mount and has good chemical resistance and thermal insulation. Furthermore, it has good recyclability and can be in contact with foodstuffs.
